Description

Design and construction of a 71 m single span two lane bridge and approaches.  Excavation of 80,000 m³ of creek bed material and drill, blast, load, haul and place 40,000 m³ of 6,000 kg and 8,000 kg class rip rap.  Control of and dewatering of Rutherford Creek water flow as construction proceeded.  Fish habitat enhancements and undertaking significant envirionmental management and construction mitigation for in-stream work.
